Bird research and conservation management


WMIL have a strong ornithological background, having worked on a vast array of avian research and conservation projects, both within New Zealand and across the globe. We can help design and implement studies, analyse and interpret data, and produce reports and published literature for bird conservation or research projects. Specialist skills include bird banding/ringing, species translocation, breeding and biology studies, integrated species research and management for conservation work, radio telemetry. Our wide range of experience and skills has seen us involved in a vast number of avian projects, from species monitoring to translocation, including working on some of the world’s most endangered birds.
