WMIL provides technical advice to Pest Free Onetahua as they develop their strategy to eradicate predators from Onetahua/Farewell Spit and the surrounding area.
Pest Free Onetahua aim to bring an abundance of birds and other native wildlife back to north-west Golden Bay. This is a long-term shared community vision to enable future generations the chance to enjoy a wealth of native wildlife in this wāhi tapu (sacred place) rich in Māori traditions and stories.
